Eating on one's belly is the hardest thing to do. It means trusting the native local population. Which has always been hard. On the other hand it means enslaving them and using them like slaves which used to be done. However, there needs to be a happy medium. In which the US military can use the people and surrounding areas to create food. However, still have US military personnel watch and teach them ideas of how to better farm. For example the Special Operations units in Afghanistan which after ten years have now just taken an interest in Afghanistan cooking and animal husbandry. Can take this basic idea of eating on one's belly and use it to make friends. As anyone knows the best way to assimilation or to create friends is over food. As food is the way to make people feel good. Therefore, we can see the necessary need for the CIA to come up with a foreign policy in the areas of civilian food acquisition that could save the US military a lot of money. Along with help build better ties to the people and create a better economy. This might be a good idea. As I could easily see US military or US contracted farmers going to aired lands like California, which is a desert, and teaching them how to create canals and farms and the such. This is where I believe the US military intelligence has failed. However, the CIA will not fail. I would love to write a report on how important those factors are the military relations and then create an applicable format. As currently our military I believe has little to no farmers in their units. We might want to boost that matter.
