Lets say one mine makes use 63 million in value.
This is for a low mine not even the ones we need to open which are far more lucrative. Where rare earth mines can make that in billions and close to a trillion.
As such, we take that the US itself needs 14 trillion a year. So if we take that each value production created is added to the deficit as most all funds are taxed in some point in manner. Then we take we need to create 14 trillion dollars. As such, if one mine has around 200 workers. Which make around 20 million or so a year, which this is a very rough calculation. Then we see what we need to destroy the deficit and turn it back around like a real leader.
So first we realize that each major job that is created that earns over 60 thousand a year creates at least two jobs which then earn around 30 thousand a year. So for one mine we get the basic idea that we are earning around 77 million.
As such, lets do the basic math. So if we opened up 181 mines in the US. Which we have tons more honey spots than that. We would see the US economy balanced back out. Along with that that is just to balance the deficit. That does not include the ripple affect of the economy at the actuality that we would probable gain about 12 trillion in surplus each year.
If we look at the world like India, China, Australia or even Russia the US does not even mine a fraction of its minerals. Mainly due to the EPA. As such, this mining industry could easily boost our tax bases and allow the US space mining program that my children are scheduled to enter to be space cowboys to be done and over with in about a decades. Which as most mines last for hundreds of years. We would be able to shut a lot of them down as space mining becomes viable within the next twenty years because of a good economy and strong tax bases for our domestic sovereign space infrastructure.

That is three mines per state.

Along with that somewhere in this mound I call my brain. There are articles with regards to US military and national security products like plane parts being made in Communist China along with electronics. In which the MSS will not allow US Generals or national security advisers to tour the plants. Which means they could have full scale development programs and rooms for backdoor programs like we think we do. Which means our new planes being created with Communist Chinese electronics due to the suck of resource monopoly forcing us to produce them there. Our planes will have back doors that will turn them into robot drones for the MSS if we ever fight them.

"It had bought over 59,000 microchips destined for installation in everything from missile defense systems to gadgets that tell friend from foe. The chips turned out to be counterfeits from China, but it could have been even worse. Instead of crappy Chinese fakes being put into Navy weapons systems, the chips could have been hacked, able to shut off a missile in the event of war or lie around just waiting to malfunction."

As we are not competeting which stops the other 50% of the world from being developed by US. Instead of the Communist Chinese economic espionage units the MSS.
