Which can be defined under espionage activity, as per my unprofessional opinion of reading espionage cases, with regards to high treason and industrial espionage. Where there is no defense of political view point. As the US is now suffered great irreparable damage. As our green technological industries are not even in a normal US leadership role. Along with the loss of major surplus of manufacturing which leads to the skills needed to find defenses and ideas against to detect and deter green tech weaponization. Which is analogous to the nuclear and physics highest form of energy in the 50's.

The US economic slowly being shut down.

This is because of a cognitional whole of the idea that the Communist Chinese SOE's are part of a free market. However, in practice and in theory no SOE can be party of a free market as standing in a trading venue of whims. As the SOE is controlled and operated by state actors like Political party members which have agendas that are not for fair trade or fair market place. In which we have seen the most corruption in the market place always coming from single party controlled countries. Like Germany, Soviet Union, Communist China and other areas where there is no Democracy to properly check and balance such corruption in the market place.

Therefore, if the US shuts down its economy and allows the Communist Chinese SOE's into the economy. It will be more or less saying it is ok to allow the world to be run by a single fascist party and its terrorist economic espionage unit. Which yearly hits the US for 76 trillion dollars in lost jobs. Along with billions in cyber terrorism and also illegal trade acquisitions via bribery and forced oppression by the MSS In tribal areas. As such, the US should no longer necessarily back these companies that are failing. But stop the MSS and their SOE's from entering. While allowing the smaller American business that have weathered the storm via good strategy to become bigger and better while the others who have become greedy wain out.
