CCP and MSS are Done The Historical Application of State Owned Enterprises and the wish to monopolize the worlds resources.

A great study would be that of how the empires of this world have always strived for resources. From the begging which was in need of food or places for animals to graze, or good places to gather berries. All the way to middle time empires, that needed more human slaves, metal's and material for trade with other empires. To the point in today's modern empires that we see use their State as a matter to gain resources for their own struggle of power. Along with cheap labor.

The study I believe would be a great dead in expediting anti trust laws and cartel laws. Which prove the necessary element to stop any country from being able to own more than 50% of the worlds resources in the market place. This then could allow for less imperialist devotion to conquering. I think it would be a great historical paper that needs to be done.
